It’s always been so hard to cure social anxiety because the only way to get more comfortable is to go out and do those things that terrify you the most.

But the Social Strategies gives you a comprehensive guide to gaining social confidence, getting easy social victories and it takes all the anxiety out of doing it. It works in a step-by-step fashion so you don’t have to encounter another embarrassing social situation.

The whole system was created and is sold by John Mercer. John’s a personal development coach from my neck of the woods here in Georgia. He spent his life struggling with social anxiety and panic attacks and even earned a degree in psychology while trying to solve his own problems.

In the Social Strategies, John gives you a quick start guide to help you jump right in and get started right away with his 8 audio lessons. Each one has a different lesson designed to change how you view social situations.

His 8 audio lessons and the added bonuses teach you “games” that you can play during any social situation to help yourself overcome the natural fear

The “games” are new ways to look at social situations that let you remove your worry from the situation and earn early victories for yourself. Instead of having to worry about what to say or what others are thinking of you, all you have to do is concentrate on playing your own game. and over thinking that normally happens.

Click Here to Learn Effective Social Strategies

The “games” are all aimed at building confidence through experience and not just through affirmations or positive thinking. John walks you through ways of increasing your confidence without ever going too fast.

That’s the great thing about John’s system is that he makes sure that you are always in control of your comfort level, while still achieving early successes. Those early successes build your confidence little by little until you don’t need the mental “games” anymore. He makes sure that you are always getting positive reinforcement out of every social situation.

John really seems to understand what it’s like to go through these anxious situations and you can tell by listening that he’s been there. And he’s made it so that his lessons walk you through an easy, stress-free strategy. He takes into account that for some people this problem may be severe and he makes sure that anyone can use it to be as comfortable as they need to be without being pushed too far.

I really loved the Social Strategies and my advice is that anyone looking to become more outgoing, less shy and have more social confidence without having to deal with the fear and anxiety, needs to have the social strategies.

I’ve never met one I liked and I don’t expect to. I’m a great believer that anxiety, panic and social anxiety self help is the right cure in most cases. I don’t believe in homeopathy or any “alternative medicine.”

I believe that panic and social anxiety indicate that there is something that needs changing in our lives and that self help is the best way to find out what that might be and change it for the better.

Now overcoming panic attacks using self help is easier, in my experience, than overcoming social anxiety. I think reason is that social anxiety can be such a vicious, self-feeding cycle it can be hard to break yourself out of it. You feel more isolated by not making social connections, which makes it harder to make new connections, which just isolates you even more.

Click Here to Learn Effective Social Strategies

Finding a Social Anxiety Plan

I always recommend that people find either something or someone that can help them or act as a guide to keep them on track and moving forward. Social anxiety self help doesn’t mean doing it all on your own, it means getting the right information and finding the courage to help yourself.

When I suffered from social anxiety, I had to do a great deal of soul searching before I was ready for a cure. First off I had to admit that, for one thing, I was not an extrovert and that I shouldn’t expect myself to act that way. I’m an introvert and that’s okay. I like being introverted, but I wanted to be able to communicate with others without feeling as if I was completely out of place.

I had to accept that I wasn’t going to become an extroverted “people-person” – that just isn’t my nature. Then I had to accept that I couldn’t overcome my social anxiety completely by myself. I needed someone to show me the way.

The Right Self Help Strategy

I looked through a few books and audio programs before deciding on John Mercer’s Social Strategies. I won’t get into the full Social Strategies review right now, but I will say that it holds an interesting secret to social anxiety self help:

A social anxiety self help strategy: a step-by-step guide to making changes. This is important because if you could cure social anxiety with the knowledge and skill set that you already have, you’d have done it by now. The secret is to find someone who knows what they’re doing to show you the way. The work is done by you in your own time and in the comfort of your own home, but someone more experienced is pointing the way.

Click Here to Discover Your Social Confidence

I needed Social Strategies to teach me something that I didn’t know, to give me a skill set I was lacking. That’s what you need to look for.

Social anxiety self help is possible, but you have to remember that self help doesn’t always mean doing everything by yourself. Be open to asking for help and finding the right guide to take you to a place where you are confident, well spoken and comfortable being yourself.

I know many people rely on it and claim they have no side effects, but I’ve also talked to those whose lives were made worse by the Xanax side effects.

When I started realizing that I had inherited my mothers habit of worry and anxiety, I swore I would never resort to anxiety meds. My anxiety was bad, but I don’t like the idea of something messing with my brain.

I talk a lot on this website about finding an anxiety attack treatment that doesn’t involve medication. That’s because sometimes the side effects of Xanax or other anxiety drugs can be worse than just having anxiety.

Here are just some of the side effects of Xanax as an example:

drowsiness

dizziness

tiredness

lack of coordination

skin rash

respiratory problems

constipation

lack of inhibition

suicidal thoughts

hallucinations

slurred speech

memory loss

Click Here to Learn How to Cure Anxiety Without Medcation

And this is something that is supposed to make you feel better? Jeeze, give me the anxiety. I don’t mean to sound flip, but just look at that list. That’s only a few of the possible side effects.

The worst side effect of Xanax, I believe, is that it’s so addictive. Once you get addicted to it, getting off the drug can cause even more side effects.

The side effects of Xanax are one of the reasons that I started this website. I wanted to try to give people better options. I want to help people see that medication should be the last resort.

Other Options:

I’ve included some good anxiety attack treatment options on the rest of this site, but I’ll mention a few here, too.

The best long-term solution is Panic Away. You can read my Panic Away review here.

Another good option is NLP or Neuro Linguistic Programming. This is a good choice if your anxiety happens in certain situations.

If you want more info on some alternatives to anxiety medications and ways to avoid the side effects of drugs like Xanax, click here read about other anxiety attack treatment options.

Are other medications better?

The side effects of Xanax make it a pretty bad choice, but other medications may help. These types of drugs work differently for different people.

If you really think medication is the best thing for you, talk to your doctor. I’m not a doctor, I can only tell you what I’ve researched and experiences with my own anxiety.

I do know that medication was not the right choice for me, but I’ve talked to a lot of people who have been helped. So have a chat with your doctor about some options. But I recommend doing your own research on side effects at home.

Just be careful. I don’t want to see anybody ending up worse off because they chose to take a pill that wasn’t good for them. Anxiety is bad enough without hurting your health.

That’s why I started this site: to give you other options and keep you from giving up.

Do you want to cure your anxiety without dangerous medication?

What are the panic disorder symptoms? And does having one panic attack mean I have panic disorder? Is there a panic disorder cure?

These are really common questions. Probably because “Panic Disorder” sounds like such a scary term.

It’s not. Or at least it shouldn’t be scary. Having panic disorder just means that you have multiple panic attacks on a regular basis. That’s not scary at all, right?

So does having one panic attack mean I have panic disorder?

No. It takes multiple attacks over a period of time.

That means that panic disorder symptoms are mostly the same as the symptoms of a panic attack. But there is one big difference.

People with panic disorder often have what are called “anticipatory attacks.” That means that they have a panic attack because they are so afraid and stressed out about having another panic attack. The fear of suffering another attack actually causes another attack.

Click Here To Stop Your Panic NOW

Panic disorder symptoms create a vicious cycle of panic attacks. Each attack just leads to more anxiety, which lead to more attacks, which lead to more anxiety . . . and on and on. Joe Barry based his entire Panic Away book on breaking this cycle.

Is there a difference between a panic attack and panic disorder?

Not a big difference, no. Panic disorder just means you suffer from regular panic attacks.

I know a lot of people hear the term “Panic Disorder” and they immediately think there must be something terribly wrong with them. But I don’t see that as being the case.

Since panic disorder symptoms are just a cycle of panic attacks, all we need to do is break the cycle. If you can break the cycle, you can stop the habit. You can make a habit out of not having panic attacks.

That’s a lot harder than it sounds, I know, but it can be done. There are a lot of techniques out there designed specifically to stop panic disorder symptoms.

If you’d like to know more about panic disorder treatment, you can read my article detailing some of the most popular methods. I don’t go into exhaustive detail, but I can tell you what has worked for me and what was a waste of time.

I can tell you this: panic disorder symptoms are treatable without medication for most people. For extreme cases I recommend talking to your doctor before you do anything else. If left untreated, severe panic disorder can lead to depression.

Panic disorder symptoms aren’t as scary as they seem. And once you remember that the cycle is just a habit like any other, you can start taking control of your panic attacks and putting a stop to them.

Are you still suffering from panic disorder when you don’t have to?

If your answer to the above question is yes, I strongly recommend that you try Panic Away.

When you suffer from panic attacks, it can cut you off from every good thing in your life. It can alienate your friends and family and keep you from making new contacts. Panic is a debilitating disease that ruins millions of lives every year. Has yours been one of those ruined lives? Are you one of those people who spends every day practically shivering with the fear of having another panic attacks to terrified to do something as simple as driving?

If left untreated, panic attacks can escalate. That horrible pounding of your heart and shortness of breath during an attack can increase to the point where it can feel just like a heart attack. Do you really want to be the person who ends up under the blinding, cold, sterile lights of the emergency room because you can’t control your own emotions?

Sure There Are Solutions, But Do They Work?

There is a system that is so straight forward and scientific that it has helped millions of people find relief from panic, mend their families and get their lives back on track. It’s called Panic Away, and I know you’ve heard of it before.

You’ve heard a lot of things about this system, but the only thing that matters is does it really work?

Well in this Panic Away review, I’m going to share everything I found from my experiences with Panic Away and how it can help you step out into the sunshine of a brand new, panic-free day.

Click Here to Start Your New Panic-Free Life

Would You Take Advice From Someone Who Had Never Had a Panic Attack?

The author of Panic Away, Joe Barry, has got years of experience when it comes to curing panic attacks and he based Panic Away on his own experiences with panic attacks. This isn’t some fresh out of college, preppie psychologist that’s only read about your symptoms in a book!

But I’ll tell you the two things that really impressed me about Panic Away:

The book has evolved over 7 years. 7 years worth of customers (over 40,000 cured) have proven that Panic Away is effective.

All those 100% real testimonials. I did a little checking for myself before trying Panic Away. Every testimonial is confirmed and it would actually be illegal to fake them.

Now Panic Away is set up in three sections. Part one deals with stopping panic attacks and teaching the One Move technique – a technique that is so amazingly simple, you could feel relief wash over your evey muscle instantly. Part two teaches you how to stop your constant anxiousness and terror. Finally, part three deals with making those changes permanent, so you never need to buy another one of those other so-called “panic cures.”

Part three really sets this book apart from all the other panic cure options out there. It teaches you how to deal with nearly any setback on your road to recovery and how to cement all the positive changes that you make. It goes beyond just teaching you a technique, it gives you a new outlook on your panic.

Click Here To Stop Your Panic Now

Why Does This Work?

Quite simply, because it’s different. Case closed. Panic Away is so different from anything else available on the market because it focuses on stopping your panic, not just your symptoms. It’s not about relaxing, hypnotizing yourself or taking sedatives to change your mood.
Since I tried Panic Away, I’ve never needed anything else, which is pretty impressive after all the other things I’ve evaluated.

Now I know that a lot of people are wary of buying an ebook online, but this really is the best option. No nasty side effects, no expensive drugs, it cuts out shipping costs, and lets you get the information immediately. It also means that should you need to use Joe’s 60 day money back guarantee all it takes is sending a simple email to get it.

If you’re ready to stop living in the dark, dismal, dreary world of panic and anxiety – stop doing what you’re doing! Do something different, right now! Click on the link below and get your copy of Panic Away. Don’t be that person who could’ve changed their life with one simple decision, but chickened out.

It’s not fun to admit that there are times when your brain is out of your control and you feel like you’re losing your mind.

That’s just one of the reasons that many people won’t even think of trying a panic attack treatment. It isn’t that they don’t want a cure, it’s that the problem is too embarrassing to talk about.

If you’re one of those people looking for panic attacks self help, the good news is that there are things that you can do for yourself.

The first thing to do is admit that what you’ve done so far hasn’t worked.

I know that might seem like an odd first step, but many people think that their panic attacks are a product of not having enough willpower. Not being able to “just relax.” Not being able to just “let it go.”

Click Here to Put a Stop To Your Panic

You need to understand right now that you panic attacks have nothing to do with your willpower.

You can’t force yourself to relax and you can’t force yourself to feel better. So if you’re harboring beliefs like, I just can’t seem to relax, that’s my problem! – let those go.

Your problem is that you’re trying to fight fire with fire.

The second step on your panic attacks self help journey is to find a program to follow.

There are any number of good programs out there that can teach you to help yourself. But you need to get one of them (or multiple) because now is the time to learn about your panic and get an expert opinion on how to stop it.

Panic attacks self help isn’t about just curing your panic by yourself. It’s about becoming your own expert by learning as much as you can.

The important thing is to find the panic attack course that feels right to you. For me it was Panic Away, as I’ve mentioned before, but it doesn’t matter whether you choose:

NLP

Self Hypnosis

Emotional Freedom Techniques

Meditation

The Linden Method

Or anything else.

What matters most is that the course feels like the right choice for you.

Finally, the third and most important step is to keep trying.

Not every method works for every person and you may have to try a few different things before you find what works. I tried NLP, self hypnosis and meditation with very little success. It wasn’t until I decided to try again with Panic Away that I finally found what I needed.

The point is that it isn’t uncommon to have to try multiple approaches to curing your panic. It’s normal, don’t get discouraged. Panic attacks self help isn’t for the impatient, but if you can focus on a brighter future at any price, you’re certain to get there.

If your answer to the above question is yes, I strongly recommend that you try Panic Away.

Despite what they may seem like at the time, overcoming panic attacks can be done. They may seem scary and too big for you to handle when they’re happening, but if you can find the presence of mind during an attack to recognize that this attack will be over soon, you’ll see just how harmless panic really is.

If you find yourself in the middle of a panic attack there are some things you can do to control your panic. Below you’ll find 3 steps that will teach you how to overcome panic attacks when they occur and ultimately find the confidence to rid yourself of them for good.

1.	Recognize What’s Happening

Remember, knowledge is power. Panic attacks can seem like heart attacks or strokes when they’re happening. That fear makes the attack even worse as you start to think you’re dying. This is why many people end up in the emergency room for panic attacks.

Click Here to Cure Your Panic Attacks

But if you can learn to recognize an attack for what it is, you can remove that fear and energy from it.

Keep a list of symptoms near by at work or wherever your attacks occur the most. This way you can reach for it any time and recognize that this isn’t a life threatening situation, it’s just a common panic attack and it will be over soon.

2. Breathe

Practice deep breathing whenever you can. Not only is it good for relaxation, but it will also help you the next time an attack occurs. Too many people let their fear of the attack wash over them and start to hyperventilate.

Hyperventilation makes you lightheaded and makes it even harder to think clearly and recognize that this panic attack is just an attack.

Once you recognize what’s happening to you, start to control the panic attack by breathing slowly and deliberately. Don’t breathe too deeply; just breathe in a steady way. This gives you a relaxing sensation to focus on and keep you grounded as the attack continues.

3. Don’t React

Many people like to try exercising or moving around during an attack and that can be a good strategy, but I think not focusing on the attack at all will take the power away from it.

Once you’ve recognized the panic attack and started to control your breathing, it’s best to remain as passive as possible.

This isn’t easy. It’s going to feel like there is a fire alarm going off in your head, telling you to run, shout, scream, cry, do something to change what’s happening right now. The problem is that if you do react, you’re only feeding the flames of the attack.

Click Here to Find The Best Panic Cure

If you can remain passive while the attack is going, remind yourself that it’s unpleasant and frightening but it will be over very quickly, and just breathe, you’ll find that you can successfully ride out the attack and bring it under your control.

The good news is that once you start learning the steps to overcoming panic attacks, they will naturally fade away all together. But this is just a brief overview; if you want a more in depth strategy for how to control panic attacks, I recommend reading a book like Panic Away.

There you’ll find a more detailed look at not only what you’re experiencing, but also how to control panic attacks and prevent them all together.

But I know there are many people who either don’t believe that there is anything that can be done about their panic, or they don’t believe a natural cure would be effective.

I’ll be the first to admit that not everything works for everyone. Curing panic attacks isn’t an exact science. In my experiences with panic, I’ve learned that some people have to try multiple options before they find the one that’s right for them. And it’s usually the last option that finally brings some relief.

But that doesn’t mean that a natural cure is impossible, or even hard to come by. It just means that curing panic attacks is all about persistence and occasionally suspending your disbelief to try something you wouldn’t normally think of.

Click Here to Learn the Secret to Curing Your Panic Attacks

The Steps

Below are three methods for how to cure panic attacks without medication. I encourage you to try all of them (and more) before you assume that you’re doomed to a life of anxiety and panic.

Self Hypnosis – Whenever I suggest self hypnosis as a way to cure panic attacks people are always skeptical. They assume that their case is just too severe and they’ll never be able to overcome it just by relaxing with a hypnosis CD.It is important to remember, however, that self hypnosis has worked for a great many people. It has a long track record for success, which means it’s at least looking into. The only real problem I’ve had with self hypnosis as an anxiety and panic treatment is that it works best when you are relaxed and receptive to it. If you’re tense, stressed or skeptical it won’t do you much good. Since suffering anxiety makes relaxation pretty difficult at times, this is a little bit of a snag in the system.

Neuro Linguistic Programming – NLP is a method of creating successful mental patterns by crafting and changing your internal beliefs. If that doesn’t make a lot of sense to you at first, you’re not alone. NLP is better experienced than talked about.NLP is a favorite of mine because some of its techniques have been very helpful in changing some of my own limiting beliefs. When done properly the techniques can help you overcome a lot of negative thoughts. The drawback is that learning NLP isn’t so easily done over the internet or through books. It helps to have a teacher who knows what they’re doing and those tend to be hard to find in many places.

Panic Away – this is an ebook on curing panic attacks that’s been a bestseller online for the last 7 years. The book is a pretty big resource of information about stopping panic and generalized anxiety disorder without using medication. The thing I have really enjoyed about Panic Away is that it’s like having a manual that you can use to refer back to anytime you’re unsure. Its techniques allow you to basically shorten the time and expense normal therapy would take.Panic Away was what finally worked for me. If you want to learn more about it, you can read my Panic Away Review. It’s a good system for the price and the little time you need to devote to it, so it’s always my best recommendation.

But like I said, it’s important to try everything. Don’t hang your hat on just one treatment because everyone is different. Try everything, even if you’re unsure about it. I know a lot of people complain about the expense of some course or CD’s, but the way I see is that if one of them eventually works, does it matter how much you spent?

To me, just being anxiety free is worth whatever small fortune I could spend on treatments.

Are you still suffering from panic attacks when you don’t have to?

If your answer to the above question is yes, I strongly recommend that you try Panic Away.

This guide has been the best-selling and most effective guide to curing panic attacks and generalized anxiety on the internet for the last 7 years.
GAD is very treatable by common methods. Most people don’t have to resort to dangerous medication (a subject I frown on, as you know ).

Below are some treatment options for people suffering from generalized anxiety disorder. The only way to know for certain which option is best for you is to talk with you doctor, but this list might give you some good ideas (an maybe a little hope).

Medications

Let’s just get this one out of the way first. As I’ve said before, I’m not personally a fan of medication to treat anxiety, but I know they are effective for many people.

As a generalized anxiety disorder treatment, the most common prescriptions are for anti-depressants like Zoloft or Prozac. These have had some good effects, but studies have shown that the other treatments on this list have been more effective.

Problem Solving

I know it sounds coy, but one of the best ways to deal with GAD is to solve the problems that worry you. This isn’t normally effective for panic attacks, but it works for GAD.

Click Here to Start Treating Your GAD

Let’s say you worry about losing your job or not having enough money. You can help these worries by improving your resume or setting a spending budget to save money. The idea is to create solid plans and strategies that can help take some of the worry off your shoulders.

Therapy

As a generalized anxiety disorder treatment, studies have shown that this is actually the best solution, believe it or not. People can spend some time with a therapist working out the underlying problems that might be causing their generalized anxiety.

Once you find the cause of your worry, it might become clear how you can go about solving it. You may not even need an actual therapist. Talking to an insightful friend or even just a good listener can help you work these things out for yourself.

Good News and Bad News

The good news about GAD is that there is usually an identifiable cause, making it easy to treat and even cure.

The bad news is that not treating GAD can lead to panic attacks and turn it into panic disorder and depression. If you suspect that GAD maybe something you suffer from, talk to your doctor. The two of you can decide which generalized anxiety disorder treatment is best for you.

Remember that we hardly ever worry for no reason at all. And it may be easier to fix what’s causing you to worry rather than stopping the worry itself.

Are you still suffering from generalized anxiety when you don’t have to?

If your answer to the above question is yes, I strongly recommend that you try Panic Away.

The good news is that GAD is easier to treat than panic disorder. There are also generalized anxiety disorder treatments that can be really effective.

Here you’ll find a list of the most common generalized anxiety symptoms. I don’t like the idea of people diagnosing themselves based on anything they read on this site, but I do think it’s important to be informed.

If you think any of these sounds like you, seeing your doctor can open up some treatment options. And now that I’ve done the “see you doctor” spiel and covered my butt, let’s get to the symptoms.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder Symptoms:

Uncontrollable Worry – if you suffer from chronic, constant worry (meaning for more than about six months at a time) you may have GAD. Since it’s a chronic problem, generalized anxiety disorder symptoms can seem to come and go.Excessive worry that you just can’t seem to stop is the biggest warning sign.

Impairment – if your worry keeps you from living a normal life, GAD may be a problem. Generalized anxiety disorder can sometimes keep you from being yourself in social situations. It may also hold you back at work.Any time anxiety stops you from doing every day activities, that’s a sign that it’s time to see your doctor. Worrying is one thing, but it’s time to find a cure when it gets in the way of living a happy life.

Physical Symptoms – there are a lot of physical symptoms that go along with generalized anxiety disorder. I thought I would group them all together to make it a bit more organized.

Irritability

Restlessness

Trouble sleeping

Trouble concentrating

Chronic stomach aches

I hesitated to put these symptoms on the list because they could be symptoms for so many things. Just because you have these, doesn’t necessarily mean you have GAD.

The bottom line is that diagnosing GAD isn’t really down to an exact science. It’s a term that can encompass a lot of different things. If you have constant worry and uncontrollable anxiety, see your doctor and let them decide for sure.

It’s important to get any generalized anxiety disorder symptoms checked out. Not treating GAD can cause panic attacks and panic disorder. The sooner you address the problem, the more likely it will be that you can cure it.
