Side Effects of Xanax

The side effects of Xanax are a big reason I encourage to find a natural anxiety cure. I know many people rely on it and claim they have no side effects, but I’ve also talked to those whose lives were made worse by the Xanax side effects.

When I started realizing that I had inherited my mother’s habit of worry and anxiety, I swore I would never resort to anxiety meds. My anxiety was bad, but I don’t like the idea of something messing with my brain.

I talk a lot on this website about finding an anxiety attack treatment that doesn’t involve medication. That’s because sometimes the side effects of Xanax or other anxiety drugs can be worse than just having anxiety.

Here are just some of the side effects of Xanax as an example:

  • drowsiness
  • dizziness
  • tiredness
  • lack of coordination
  • skin rash
  • respiratory problems
  • constipation
  • lack of inhibition
  • suicidal thoughts
  • hallucinations
  • slurred speech
  • memory loss

And this is something that is supposed to make you feel better? Jeeze, give me the anxiety. I don’t mean to sound flip but just look at that list. That’s only a few of the possible side effects.

The worst side effect of Xanax, I believe, is that it’s so addictive. Once you get addicted to it, getting off the drug can cause even more side effects.

The side effects of Xanax are one of the reasons that I started this website. I wanted to try to give people better options. I want to help people see that medication should be the last resort.

Other Options:

I’ve included some good anxiety attack treatment options on the rest of this site, but I’ll mention a few here, too.

The best long-term solution is Panic Away. You can read my Panic Away review here.

Another good option is NLP or Neuro-Linguistic Programming. This is a good choice if your anxiety happens in certain situations.

If you want more info on some alternatives to anxiety medications and ways to avoid the side effects of drugs like Xanax, click here read about other anxiety attack treatment options.

Are other medications better?

The side effects of Xanax make it a pretty bad choice, but other medications may help. These types of drugs work differently for different people.

If you really think medication is the best thing for you, talk to your doctor. I’m not a doctor, I can only tell you what I’ve researched and experiences with my own anxiety.

I do know that medication was not the right choice for me, but I’ve talked to a lot of people who have been helped. So have a chat with your doctor about some options. But I recommend doing your own research on side effects at home.

Just be careful. I don’t want to see anybody ending up worse off because they chose to take a pill that wasn’t good for them. Anxiety is bad enough without hurting your health.

That’s why I started this site: to give you other options and keep you from giving up.

Do you want to cure your anxiety without dangerous medication?

If your answer to the above question is yes, I strongly recommend that you try Panic Away.

This guide has been the best-selling and most effective guide to curing panic attacks and generalized anxiety on the internet for the last 7 years.
